John Manning, the designer and creator of the Pavilions, began with inspiration from a wooden pergola and a vision of a barn style marquee, keeping away from traditional PVC marquees to create unique pavilion marquees and offer them for hire to private venues, corporate event venues and festivals.

It all started with a pencil and paper and a small-scale balsa wood model, all the way through to the full scale complete pavilion range. John has more exciting designs to be offered in the near future.

The Pavilions are built with the highest grade of materials in mind such as aged wood and finishes, stainless steel fittings and structural steel plates and brackets to ensure high strength without comprising the aesthetics of the structures.

Features of the pavilion range:

The Pavilions can be styled to create a luxurious and elegant space or a rustic farmhouse appearance by using different styling techniques. Create your own style by using large leaf foliage, draped vines or have your florist create one or multiple hanging arrangements from the overhead beams. The optional garden walls can make a stunning backdrop and more lush greenery or flowers can be added or they can simply be left as they are.

The canvas roof and side curtains are installed on the set up day and the curtains can be drawn back and some curtains closed depending on wind or rain directions if necessary. Alternatively the canvas roof and side curtains can be removed completely for an open-air experience. However, this decision is best made the day prior to the wedding or event day. You could also have the 8x12 main pitched roof installed without the side roof covers installed.

Technical information:

All Pavilions come with structural certification, wind ratings are to N3 standards and the canvas is fire rated to AS 1530.2 as this is required for use on public land or commercial set ups. If the Pavilions are assembled on grassed areas, they are anchored down at each base plate and if used on gravel or other hard surfaces, they are weighted down at each corner by using ballast, just like a marquee but with style! Please contact the team if you require our certificates.
